Public federal sources

Census Bureau ACS and Bureau of Labor Statistics LAUS and OEWS data are public. MyCommUnity Builder retrieves them through the agencies' published APIs, stores an immutable snapshot, and cites the table, vintage, geography, and retrieval date for every value. Neither agency endorses this product, and figures are reproduced as published.

MIT Living Wage Calculator

• Living wage figures are ingested only from files your agency is licensed to use. The platform does not scrape the calculator.
• An administrator must confirm the agency's permission at upload time; the confirmation is recorded in the audit log with the actor and timestamp.
• Reports must attribute figures to the MIT Living Wage Calculator with the county and data year, and may not republish the underlying dataset as a standalone file.

United For ALICE

• ALICE state research files are ingested from the Excel or CSV releases your agency has obtained under a United For ALICE data-use agreement.
• Use is limited to the agency's own analysis and reporting. Redistribution of the research files, or use in a commercial product, is not permitted by this platform's terms.
• Reports must credit United For ALICE and the specific state report and release year shown in the citation ledger.

Agency-supplied content

Uploaded surveys, focus-group notes, financial records, and wage rosters remain the property of the uploading agency and are never shared with another tenant.

Attribution rule

A factual value cannot be marked final in a report without a citation record naming the publisher, reference, vintage, and snapshot. This applies to public and licensed sources alike and is enforced in the citation review stage.
