Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern use of MyCommUnity Builder ("the Service") by an agency, association, or other subscribing organization ("Customer") and the individual users the Customer authorizes. Creating an account or accepting an invitation constitutes acceptance of these terms on behalf of the Customer.

2. Accounts, tenants, and roles

• Each organization is a separate tenant. Records belong to the tenant that created them.
• Administrators are responsible for who they invite, the role assigned, and the counties assigned to each member.
• Users may only prepare reports for geographies inside their organization's service area unless they hold a platform super administrator role.
• Credentials are personal. Sharing accounts between staff is prohibited.

3. Customer data and ownership

The Customer owns the content it uploads and the reports it produces. The Service stores and processes that content only to operate the platform for the Customer, and exports remain available for the life of the subscription plus the retention window described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access another tenant's data or bypass service-area restrictions.
• Do not upload data the Customer has no right to process.
• Do not redistribute licensed third-party data obtained through the Service outside the terms of the applicable data-use agreement.
• Do not use the Service to build a competing product or to run automated scraping.

5. AI-assisted drafting

Drafting assistance produces suggested text, not verified findings. Every factual claim must be tied to a citation record before a section is marked final, and the Customer remains responsible for reviewing and approving all published content.

6. Availability and support

The Service is provided on a commercially reasonable availability basis. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical. Support requests go to support@mycommunitybuilder.org.

7. Suspension and termination

A Customer may cancel at any time; access continues through the paid term. The Service may suspend an account for non-payment or for a breach of the acceptable use terms. On termination the Customer may export its data during a 30-day window, after which the tenant record is deleted.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those stated here. Public data pulled from federal and state sources is reproduced as published and is not independently audited. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes and contact
